Free State Premier MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae has commended the fathers who were present at the hospital to support mothers of new babies born on New Years Day .
The Premier visited both Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein and Dr JS Moroka in Thaba Nchu to welcome newborns on the first day of the new year .
Letsoha-Mathae has stressed the critical role of fathers in the upbringing of their children.
