The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa Prasa says the draft National Rail Master Plan will play a key role in shaping the future of rail transport in the country.
Prasa says the plan provides a long-term framework to expand and modernise rail networks while improving commuter services.
Speaking at the opening of public consultations on the draft plan in Kempton Park, Prasa Group Chief Executive Officer Hishaam Emeran says the plan will help guide both recovery and future expansion.
