The Public Private Partnership Commission PPPC, led by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Patrick Kabambe, recently held a courtesy meeting with the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority MACRA to discuss initiatives aimed at expanding the countrys digital ecosystem.
During the meeting, Mr. Kabambe emphasized the Commissions ongoing efforts to support communication infrastructure development across Malawi. He revealed plans for the joint rollout of 98 communication towers nationwide, a project expected to enhance both the quality and coverage of telecom services.
MACRA Acting Director General, Mr. Mayamiko Nkoloma, commended PPPC for its critical role in laying the foundation for a resilient communication network, highlighting collaboration between the two institutions as key to realizing Malawis digital ambitions.
