Controversial and politically connected businessman Oupa 'Brown' Mogotsi survived an apparent shooting in Vosloorus on Monday night, Cape town Etc reports.
SAPS national spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe confirmed the incident, saying, 'We have opened a case of attempted murder.'
According to SABC News, a gunman fired eight shots at a vehicle while Mogotsi was inside. He is expected to provide a formal statement to police, while investigators continue to examine the scene for forensic evidence and establish a timeline of events.
