Police are yet to establish the cause of a crash in which eight people were killed on the N3 highway between Van Reenen's Pass and Montrose in the Free State.
Six other people were injured and taken to hospital following the crash, which happened when a minibus taxi and a truck collided on Thursday morning.
The affected part of the road has been closed.
