The High Court in Johannesburg has ruled that a police officer accused of murdering his girlfriend, Gauteng crime warden Chesnay Keppler, forfeit his R20 000 bail and remain in custody until his trial is concluded.
Mandla Buthelezi was rearrested last week for violating his bail conditions, leading to the revocation of his bail .
He allegedly shot and killed Keppler during a domestic dispute on Boxing Day last year. Buthelezis expected back in court next month.
