The government and the police are in the final stages of implementing the use of body cameras for officers. Thats according to Acting Deputy National Police Commissioner Lineo Nkhuoa.
Nkhuoa says the budget for the purchase has been approved and allocated for the current financial year.
She made the announcement at the graduation ceremony for the first group of officers who had completed the new course offered by the Safety and Security SETA in Durban.
