PayPal Seals Exclusive AI Wallet Deal
PayPal has become the first payments provider to integrate its digital wallet into OpenAIs ChatGPT. The deal, finalised over the weekend, sent the companys shares surging 14 in premarket trading. Investors saw a glimpse of the AI-driven shopping future.
This partnership marks the start of what PayPal calls agentic commerce a world where AI tools make purchases for users. It will allow hundreds of millions of ChatGPT users to shop and check out directly within conversations.
