Patriotic Alliance PA leader Gayton McKenzie has announced that his party will withdraw from its coalitions with the African National Congress ANC, including in the City of Johannesburg and the government of national unity GNU.
In an interview with eNCA after Heritage Day celebrations on Wednesday 24 September, McKenzie claimed Johannesburg Mayor, the ANCs Dada Morero, had disrespected the PA.
McKenzie announces Patriotic Alliance withdrawal from GNUWe are not considering. We are withdrawing from our relationship in coalitions and immediately after that, we are going to start the processes of withdrawing from the GNU also, he said.
