PalmPay urges Nigerians to embrace digital payments
PalmPay has encouraged Nigerians to embrace digital payment systems, as it announced the first set of winners in its Eid campaign, tagged PalmPay Eid Bonanza.
In a statement, the firm noted that since the start of the bonanza on April 10, five lucky winners have been emerging daily simply by performing tasks on the PalmPay App.
PalmPay's Head of Marketing Communications, Enakeno Umuteme, said, "This initiative is to encourage and reward Nigerians to embrace digital payment channels for their daily financial transactions.
"It is a testament to PalmPay's commitment to driving financial inclusion by making digital financial services more accessible to millions of Nigerians."
One of the winners of an iPhone 15 Pro, Comfort Udoh from Lagos, said, "I simply won by recharging my phone with airtime on the PalmPay app. I received the exciting news via a call from PalmPay Nigeria. I thank them for the generous reward of a brand-new iPhone 15 Pro."
Also, Mr Abegurin Segun won an Infinix Hot 40i by placing an N100 bet through his PalmPay app, receiving a surprise call from PalmPay Nigeria about his victory in the daily raffle.
