The two teams recently squared off in a two-match Test series, which ended in a 1-1 draw. The T20I series promises to be as intriguing.
Pakistan were not at their best during the 2025 Asia Cup last month. Still, they managed to reach the finals. During the tournament, they registered four wins and three defeats. All of their losses came against arch-rivals India. In home conditions, Pakistan will look to give South Africa a tough time.
South Africa, on the other hand, will want to bounce back strongly after their shock defeat to Namibia in Windhoek earlier this month. The experienced players like Quinton de Kock, Reeza Hendricks, and Lungi Ngidi will have to step up and guide the plethora of youngsters in the squad along the way.
