Pakistan are all set to play a three-match T20I series against South Africa, and for the first game, PCB has announced a special plan. The PCB and the Pakistan cricket team will observe Breast Cancer Awareness Day during the first T20I in Rawalpindi.
Thus, the Pakistan cricket team will wear a special pink kit in place of their traditional green attire. Over the years, Cricket South Africa has also observed Breast Cancer Day, where the Proteas wear a Pink jersey. Australia also support breast cancer awareness by playing a Pink Test at the SCG every year.
Thus, PCB has taken a progressive decision to spread awareness among the people of Pakistan and would also reflect well on the profile of the cricket board, which has been under a lot of criticism in recent times.
