In 2025, the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Digital Economy MPTEN placed human development at the center of Guinea's digital transformation strategy, emphasizing that building infrastructure alone is not enough it must go hand-in-hand with empowering citizens with skills and opportunities. Through a series of initiatives rolled out across the country, the Ministry sought to democratize access to technology and strengthen the capacities of individuals to create, innovate, and shape the future.
Key achievements over the year include training over 10,000 people in digital applications through programs such as R-CUN, E-LONNY, digital hub initiatives, and women-focused digital inclusion efforts. In support of entrepreneurship, more than 4 million was mobilized to develop digital startups and support young innovators. Additionally, 823 computer kits were distributed in 2025 alone, contributing to a total of 3,822 kits provided since 2022, aimed at reducing the digital divide and enhancing educational opportunities for students and teachers. These efforts highlight a generation of Guinean youth acquiring skills, gaining empowerment, and actively contributing to building the Guinea of tomorrow.
