Victor Osimhen netted twice as Nigeria comfortably defeated Mozambique 4-0 in their last-16 matchup at the Africa Cup of Nations AFCON on Monday, advancing to the quarter-finals.
Former African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, kicked off the scoring in Fes after 20 minutes and played a role in setting up the other three goals during the match.
Osimhen began the game without his signature mask but put it back on before scoring Nigerias second goal in the 25th minute. He found the net again shortly after the break, before Akor Adams completed the rout.
