Orange Maroc has taken a significant step in advancing Morocco's digital sovereignty with the inauguration of its next-generation data center, "Orange Tech." The launch event was attended by the Governor of Nouaceur Province, Jalal Benhayoun, alongside prominent figures from both the public and private sectors.

The newly unveiled facility features an initial capacity of 1.5 MW and is certified by the UPTIME Institute, reflecting international standards in reliability and operational excellence. Designed to meet the rising demands for hosting, cloud services, and cybersecurity, the data center positions Orange Maroc as a key enabler of the country's digital transformation.

Sustainability is central to the project, with over 1,000 solar panels installed to reduce the environmental footprint and support energy efficiency. This eco-conscious approach aligns with broader initiatives for responsible infrastructure development in Morocco.
