One of the six suspects, who recently escaped from the Lydenburg Police Station in Mpumalanga, has been re-arrested.
Clayton Flank was apprehended near a sports ground in Kellisville near Lydenburg. He will appear at the Mashishing Magistrates Court soon, facing a charge of escaping from custody.
Police spokesperson Mpho Nonyane-Mpe says they are still searching for the other five suspects. She says they were initially arrested for various crimes such as murder, rape, possession of an unlicensed firearm and malicious damage to property.
