National Police Commissioner, Fannie Masemola says Nigerian televangelist and Jesus Dominion International JDI church Pastor, Timothy Omotoso will appear in court on Monday on charges of contravening the Immigration Act .
Omotoso was arrested in Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape this morning.
Last month, the High Court in Gqeberha acquitted Omotoso and his then co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho.
This comes after finding them not guilty of 32 charges including rape, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Judge Irma Schoeman said in her ruling that the state had failed to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.
