Nigerian televangelist and the Jesus Dominion International JDI church Pastor, Timothy Omotoso has been arrested in Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape.
Last month, the High Court in Gqeberha acquitted Omotoso and the then co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho.
This comes after finding them not guilty of 32 charges including rape, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Judge Irma Schoeman said in her ruling that the state had failed to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.
A statement will be released on Omotosos charges.
