The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has imposed a fine of N1 million on clubs that fail to reorient their ball boys against time-wasting during matches.
The Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, Davidson Owumi, stated this in a circular addressed to all clubs.
Part of the statement reads: 'Any team that found wanting and encouraging this will be sanctioned with a fine of One Million naira as such behaviour is contrary to fair play and brings the game to disrepute.
