Palesa Mphaki says being on Married at First Sight South Africa has been an eye-opener for her because not everyone is completely honest.

This season, the brave couples are Palesa and Tshepo Miya, Makoto Phumodi and Nkuleleko Mahlangu, Themba Khosa and Nelisa Ntabeni, and Portia Baloyi and Bongani Luvalo.

In an interview with Showmax, Palesa reflects on her experience on the series. Being on the show taught me that not everyone is completely honest in their actions and movements. It was a real eye-opener, she says.
She adds that she agreed to join Married at First Sight South Africa for the experience, with the objective of discovering affection through an unorthodox approach.
Watching herself on screen has been a peculiar experience, Palesa says. Yet I am grateful for the occasion to observe myself from a distinct perspective.
As would be expected for someone on such a widely viewed series, people have started to notice her in public. Im gradually becoming accustomed to the stares and whispers that surround me, Palesa shares.
Its quite amusing to observe. I appreciate those who are bold enough to approach and acknowledge me when Im out and about. The recognition is gratifying, and Im slowly becoming more comfortable with it.
