Gombe United have sued for calm from their supporters as they awaits the verdict of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Appeal Committee on the outcome of their matchday seven fixture against Jigawa Golden Stars.
DAILY POST recalls that the Nigeria National League, NNL, fined Gombe United a sum of N2.5 million for fans encroachment, harassment and intimidation of match officials at the Pantami Stadium.
Gombe United were given until January 9, 2026, to make the payment or risk forfeiture of three points to Jigawa Golden Stars.
