The Nigeria National League NNL has reaffirmed the boards commitment to maintaining its integrity ahead of the final round of matches of the season.
The league body emphasized that only the most deserving teams will progress to the Super Eight playoff to fight for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL.
NNL chairman George Aluo declared that the body is focused on aligning its operations with international best practices and will not be swayed by external pressures or influences.
We have maintained a high level of integrity since we came on board, and we are very determined to reposition the league, which is very evident in the performance of the teams we promoted last season to the NPFL," Aluo declared to NNL media.
We would continue to do our best to ensure that same is replicated this season."
