Abia Comets Football Club of Umuahia, on Saturday, drew 1-1 draw with Sunshine Stars FC of Akure, in a Southern Conference A encounter of the Nigerian National League, NNL at the Ondo State Sports Stadium, Akure.
The first half of the match ended goaless, with both sides unable to convert their chances.
In the second half, Maduka Okechukwu of Abia Comet came inches close to opening the score for the visitors, but his shot was saved by Sunshine Stars goalkeeper after 55th minute.
