The South African National Lottery says theres no need for consumers to feel uncertain about whether the lottery is still operational or not.

A commissioner at the National Lotteries Commission, Jodi Scholtz, has laid these fears to rest, saying that all platforms are operational.
She says that tickets bought before the first of June are valid for 365 days and winners can claim their prizes without any issues.
"Our regulatory compliance division has a team in place. They will be monitoring the terminals. The team will be also observing the withdrawals and we want to give assurance that its business as usual, says Scholtz.
