Nigerias trade with other countries in the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, by 43 percent, rose year-on-year YoY to N6.9 trillion in the first nine months of the year 9m25 from N4.82 trillion in the corresponding period of 2024.
Analysis of data in the Foreign Trade in Goods Statistics Report recently released by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, showed that the significant growth in trade was as a result of a 37.6 per cent , YoY rise in exports to N6.14 trillion in 9m25 from N4.46 trillion in 9m24.
