Nigeria And Denmark Sign Mou To Strengthen Digital Cooperation

Nigeria and Denmark have formalized a new chapter of digital cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding MoU aimed at advancing collaboration across digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence AI, connectivity, and innovation.

The agreement, signed between the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy FMCIDE and the Government of Denmark, underscores both nations' shared commitment to building inclusive, technology-driven economies anchored in mutual respect and sustainable development.

According to Nigeria's Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. 'Bosun Tijani, the partnership represents a significant step in deepening digital ties and expanding opportunities for Nigerian talent and innovation. Through the MoU, both countries will collaborate to scale broadband infrastructure, pilot smart digital governance solutions, and create pathways for Nigerian technology professionals to work with Danish companies-both remotely and through in-country exchanges.
