The Deputy Minister of Police, Dr Polly Boshielo, presided over a passing-out parade at the South African Police Service SAPS Academy in Bishop Lavis, Cape Town, on Friday morning, Cape town Etc reports.

This momentous event marked the beginning of the professional journey for 222 newly trained police constables, ready to embark on their mission to serve and protect their communities.

The graduates, who each underwent the rigorous Introductory Police Development Learning Programme IPDLP, come equipped with a rich spectrum of academic backgrounds in criminology, policing, law, forensic investigation, and other relevant fields.
