The Nigeria Data Protection Commission NDPC has issued a security advisory warning Google Chrome users of multiple vulnerabilities that could allow hackers to take control of devices.
The advisory, shared on the Commissions official X handle, noted that the most severe of the flaws could enable attackers to execute arbitrary code on a system, potentially gaining full access without consent.
If exploited, these vulnerabilities could allow attackers to install programs, view or delete data, or create new accounts with full administrative rights, the Commission stated.
