Senator Victor Umeh, representing Anambra Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has urged the Igbos not to forget the role of the late Super Eagles coach and ex-Rangers International Captain, Christian Chukwu.
DAILY POST recalls that Chukwu, who passed on a few weeks ago, will be buried on August 16 this year.
Umeh spoke when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased Christian Chukwu in Enugu.
He urged eminent Igbo sons to always remember the sacrifices made by Chukwu and former players of Rangers International Football Club in uniting Igbos, especially after the civil war in the 70s.
The Senator, after signing the condolence register at Chukwus Trans-Ekulu Enugu residence, went through memory lane to recount the role of Chairman Chukwu in Rangers and in Nigerias national team.
