Nigerian musician-turned-entrepreneur Oluwatosin Mr. Eazi Ajibade is putting fresh capital behind live entertainment in West Africa, pledging 2 million to develop new indoor and outdoor event venues in Accra, a move aimed at expanding the citys capacity to host large-scale performances year-round.
Mr. Eazi backs Accra venues
The announcement was made onstage during Detty Rave 7, Mr. Eazis annual year-end concert, where he called for support from the Ghana Tourism Authority and framed the investment as part of a broader effort to strengthen the business of live events across the region. Accra, long seen as a cultural hub for music and fashion, still faces limits when it comes to modern, purpose-built venues capable of hosting global acts at scale.
