The 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy has been a run-fest, now breaking into the top three for the highest-scoring Test series of all time.
India's tour of England this year has almost been defined by the needle between the two sides throughout, as can happen when two evenly-matched teams, both imperfect in their own ways, do battle for an extended period of time.
Between the style of play on either side, and the conditions prevalent throughout the series though, much of the cricket itself has been about the batsmanship shown. India skipper Shubman Gill has led the way so far, his series tally of 754 runs the second-highest by any Indian, and second-highest by any Test captain. KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja have also scored over 500 runs, while multiple England batters have the chance to cross that mark as well.
