The Mossel Bay Municipality says properties are in danger following a vegetation fire in Aalwyndaal in Mossel Bay in the Western Cape.
Aerial water bombing is underway. They are being assisted by the Mossel Bay Fire and Rescue, the Garden Route District Municipalitys firefighting services as well as volunteers.
The Mossel Bay Municipality has urged the public to avoid the area.
