Helsinki, known as the happiest capital in the world, has curated a sightseeing tour exclusively for dogs.
The Doggy Route to Happiness itinerary includes a visit to the Stickelius Monument a stick-built dog statue, inspired by the world-famous Sibelius Monument and created to honour Neris, Helsinkis most famous rescue dog.
The highlight of the itinerary is Rajasaari Island, a dog-only island with beaches, forest trails, and swimming spots. The island is open year-round and free to visit.
