KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi says some of his evidence against Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, who is currently on leave of absence, may need to be covered in camera.
In legal settings, in-camera evidence is presented in private chambers as opposed to open sessions and may not be publicly revealed.
Mkhwanazi made the revelation on Wednesday 17 September during his testimony at the judicial commission of inquiry probing alleged criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system. The commission is chaired by retired Constitutional Court justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga.
