uMkhonto weSizwe Party MK has made some significant structural changes in the whippery as part of its skills audit campaign.
Party leader Dr John Hlophe has confirmed that MK spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela was removed from his position as deputy whip.
Hlophe, who is head of the party in Parliament, has described the calls that party Chief Whip of the National Assemply, Colleen Makhubele be removed in her position, as nonsense.
He revealed that Andile Mgxitama has been brought back to lead a new position to deal with constitutional amendments.
"I see no reason why the redeployment, the fact that commander Nhlamulo Ndhlela is no longer a whip, I see no reason why it should be headlines. It doesnt indicate that the party is falling apart. We have been here. I've been here in Parliament, leading this Parliament caucus for a year now, its just over a year. The party is not falling apart," says Hlophe.
