Two senior appointments have been made at Mastercard , a global technology company operating in the payment systems sector. Following the appointment of Avsar Gurdal, General Manager of Mastercard Turkey and Azerbaijan, as Vice President, Business Development, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa APEMEA, Onur Faydaci, who has served as Deputy General Manager responsible for Customer Relationship Management at Mastercard since 2022, has been appointed to the vacant position.
In his new role, effective October 1, 2025, Faydaci will be responsible for operations and performance management in Mastercards Turkey and Azerbaijan region, aiming to further strengthen the companys presence by implementing its strategic priorities in both markets.
Gurdal will be responsible for designing and implementing strategy in the Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa EEMEA region, evaluating investment opportunities that support the implementation of strategic priorities, and managing analytical functions.
