Mason Mount was the hero for Manchester United as they defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park this afternoon, Softfootball reports.
The Red Devils had lost 1-0 to 10-man Everton last weekend at Old Trafford to end a 5-game unbeaten run while the Eagles were the in-form team after beating Wolves 2-0 in the premier league match-day 12.
It looked business as usual when Philippe Mateta gave Palace the lead through a penalty but the Red Devils fought back with goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount to record Manchester Uniteds first win at Selhurst Park since 2020.
