Retired Ekurhuleni Metro City manager Dr Imogen Mashazi has placed suspended police chief Jabulani Mapiyeye at the centre of alleged sexual harassment cases in the metro police department.
Dr Mashazi has accused Mapiyeye of abuse of power by allegedly sleeping with his subordinates and fathering children with them.
The retired Ekurhuleni City Manager says women in the metro police department complained to her that they could only get promoted in exchange for sexual favours.
