The National Police Commissioner, Fanie Masemola , is ready to testify before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry should he be summoned, according to SAPS national spokesperson Athlenda Mathe.
Mathe was speaking on Wednesday at the Alexandra Magistrates Court in Johannesburg, where businessman Vusimuzi Cat Matlala was denied bail pending attempted murder charges.
Mathe says Masemola will cooperate with the commission if he is needed.
