The African National Congress ANC national chairperson, Gwede Mantashe has emphasised the importance of the participation of the partys delegates in the organisations programmes.
Mantashe was speaking at the sidelines at the North West Provincial General Council in Potchefstroom. The party was wrapping up its two-day meeting.
My first message for them is that they are going there as delegates. They must make their contribution not depend on what others say, not depend on the paper, put their perspective on what is contained in the paper itself, and that is the message I gave them.
