The South African Police Service SAPS has launched an intensive investigation after three people were found shot dead inside a silver VW Polo in Montclair, Lentegeur, on Wednesday morning, reports Cape town Etc .
Police spokesperson Colonel Andre Traut confirmed that the grim discovery was made at around 6am at the corners of Hillcrest Road and Park Way.
According to Traut, the victims, two men and a woman, all in their twenties, sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Preliminary information suggests that the incident is gang-related, though investigations remain ongoing.
