The Democratic Alliance DA in the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality says it is concerned by the failure of the municipality to finalise the agreement with the Free State Rugby Union FSRU.
DA Councillor Dirk Kotze says the inability by the mayor to reach an agreement with the FSRU regarding the use of the Free State Stadium shows lack of leadership.
Kotze says this has resulted in Bloemfontein losing Springbok test matches and economic benefits that accompany them.
