A 40-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment for raping a 15-year-old girl by the Groblersdal Regional Court in Limpopo. The man raped the teenager at Vezinyao village near Dennilton in July 2016 and May 2017.
He was also given a lesser sentence for an indecent assault on a 13-year old.
The NPA says the name of the convict wont be divulged to protect the identity of the victim and to avoid secondary victimisation of the teenager.
