The African National Congress ANC has publicly reprimanded its National Executive Committee NEC members Malusi Gigaba and Senzo Mchunu for de-campaigning it.
In an interview with Sunday Times over the weekend, Gigaba said the NEC has lost its way and was failing in its objectives. He also criticised the inclusion of the Democratic Alliance DA in the government of national unity GNU.
Ive always held the view that the GNU should have excluded the DA. I still hold that view even now. I dont think there is anything that justifies why we are working with them, he told the publications digital politics editor Lizeka Tandwa.
