With Kaizer Chiefs already surpassing last seasons points total, co-coach Cedric Kaze says their plan is to push for a top-three spot in their next game against Magesi FC.
Last season, in an abnormal programme which saw the teams playing only 28 matches following the expulsion of Royal AM, Chiefs finished ninth with just 32 points. But their 1-0 win over Durban City on Sunday took them to 33 points.
It's a tally they could have reached a long time ago, had they made use of their games in hand. But Kaze says they won't repeat the same mistakes.
