The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority MACRA h as reaffirmed the importance of collaboration within the country's communications sector following a courtesy visit by Malawi Telecommunications Limited MTL to its Acting Director General, Mayamiko Mkoloma.
The meeting focused on familiarising the Acting Director General with recent developments at MTL, which remains a key stakeholder and one of Malawi's network operators. Discussions highlighted MTL's ongoing efforts to leverage technology to improve the quality of communication services nationwide, including initiatives aimed at extending connectivity to rural and underserved communities.
Mayamiko Mkoloma the strategic role MTL plays in advancing Malawi's digitalisation agenda, noting that reliable and inclusive communications infrastructure is essential to achieving national digital goals.
