Luka Doncic Donates 5,000 To Help Restore Kobe, Gianna Bryant Mural
LA Lakers Luka Doncic donated 5,000 on Tuesday to help restore a mural depicting Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna. The mural had been vandalized in downtown Los Angeles.
Located on the side of a building at the corner of 14th and Main streets, the mural shows Bryant holding his 13-year-old daughter, who is holding a basketball, and kissing her on the cheek.
However, the artwork had been defaced with black and white paint.
The mural was created to honor the Hall of Fame basketball player-who won five NBA championships and spent his entire career with the Lakers-and his teenage daughter.
Doncic's name appeared in the GoFundMe donation list for the murals restoration on Tuesday, and his foundation confirmed the contribution.
