The incident, shared by resident Clint Ferguson on social media, describes a terrifying encounter that unfolded just minutes after he dropped a family member at the airport.
In his post on the Western Cape Crime Alerts Network, Ferguson recounted the alarming moment he was ambushed on the Somerset West turnoff after passing a nearby petrol station. A coloured guy walked towards my car holding a gun at my windscreen, Ferguson wrote.
