Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoene has claimed that Liverpool manager, Arne Slot lied to German midfielder, Florian Wirtz before he signed for the Reds, Softfootball reports.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star was in action at the weekend as Liverpool beat West Ham United 2-0 but he has not been playing regularly like he did in Germany especially when he was at the heart of midfield during the title winning unbeaten season in the Bundesliga.
Interestingly, Liverpool Coach, Arne Slot recently defended Wirtz's form in the premier league but Bayern Munich's honorary president Hoene claims he feels sorry for the player as he is not fulfilling his potential. He said:
