The City of Libreville has officially launched a new digital platform to digitize its municipal revenue collection. The launch, which took place on July 29 at City Hall, was a significant step toward modernizing the citys financial management.
The meeting was chaired by the Special Delegate of the Municipality, Adrien Nguema Mba, and was attended by his deputies, technical and financial directors, and other municipal officers. The purpose was to present the new digital platform, which is designed to enhance revenue collection with greater transparency, improved traceability of transactions, and more efficient payment security.
The platform was presented by Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Essgheir, the Director of GTI Gabon, the company responsible for its development. He outlined the platforms technical components, its key features, the benefits it is expected to bring to the municipal administration, and the implementation plan. This initiative is a part of the citys broader efforts to improve financial operations and governance through technology.
